My students have two computers for their use. The teacher computer has more
apps including the expectation of constant monitoring of email for staff
updates throughout the day. I also change it out so kids can use their
programs on it too.

Maybe the thinking on my part could be a change in name of that area rather
than it being my desk. H m m m m
