The best kid's version of The Iliad I've seen is "Black Ships Before Troy" by Rosemary Sutcliff. Covers all the important stuff and doesn't skimp on offering rich language. It's prose though, not verse.

Take care,

Anyone know of a good adapted version of the Iliad to use with a 7th grade
advanced reading class?

Thanks
