My absolute favorite is "Ish" - Peter Reynolds Here are some others: "If the World were a Village" - David J. Smith "One Well - The Story of Water on Earth" - Rochelle Strauss "Three Questions" - John Muth "The Dot" - Peter Reynolds "The Lotus Seed" - Sherry Garland "Imagine a Day" and "Imagine a Night" - Sarah Thompson Nicole ----- Original Message ----- From: "Melissa Kile" <[email protected]> To: "Mosaic: A Reading Comprehension Strategies Email Group" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, November 9, 2009 7:23:09 PM GMT -06:00 Central America Subject: Re: [MOSAIC] thought-provoking reading for 1st graders Lots of Eve Bunting's books are thought-provoking.
