I don't have i-pods, but I have an MP3 player. I have downloaded books for the
kids and then they follow in their book. I have had up to four different books
going for an afternoon listening. They are being exposed to fluent readers,
and they can listen to books that are more advanced than their reading level.
My 4th grade students have loved them. I order my books from Audible.com With
the ipod you'll be able to do so much more than that!

Subject: [MOSAIC] Ipod Touch in the Classroom

Hello,

Our school received a grant which purchased several ipods for our school. I
am on the advance training team and would love to hear from those of you
who use them in the classroom. I am interested in both positives and
negatives and how you use them most effectively to enhance literacy. Replies
can
be mailed to me offlist at

Thanks

June
