I hear you Leslie! I let my IRA membership lapse, mainly because I couldn't 
keep up with Reading Teacher. I am going to join again because I always found 
the magazine very inspiring and used many of the tips over the years. I still 
have stacks of back issues because I can't bring myself to discard them, 
thinking I may need an article from one of them again.

I am curious to know if any of you subscribe to any periodicals/organizations

member of NSTA and go back and forth between IRA and NCTE but sometimes I feel 
like I am "collecting" and not using. There aren't enough hours in the day!
