Hi Laura and Kathleen, I'm just getting starting with Read 180 and System 44 with 4th and 3rd grades, respectively. We are about to finish Week 1! I am feeling my way with these programs! We had a day of training for each program previous to the start of school. I'd be interested in your independent reading checklist. That rotation seems like it will be a management issue. In fact, since I just have 45 min with the students, I plan to use a whole group approach for the Independent Reading center for the first half of the year.
