How about "The Girl Who Owned a City". It's a fantastic book about a plague
that hits the earth and kills anyone over the age of 12. It goes on to
explain how everyone is fending for themselves and a girl who uses her mind
to benefit her brother and those who join her and what happens to those who
don't. Exciting and just engrossing!
