To those who asked for my resource list of favorite links... Just checked one of my favorites on the list and it doesn¹t work now. It¹s the one that says Indiana university. If you want to link to Jerome Harste¹s work he is major in critical literacy google Indiana University, then go to faculty, then go to Jerome Harste. He has a place where his recent articles are collected and available for downloading.
The one that refers to the extensive bibliography of children¹s social justice literature is: Exploring Critical Literacy...... It¹s from language arts and is an EXCELLENT article that I highly recommend. I have no clue how to get to the original extensive bilbliograpy. Will try to contact him to see if it¹s available anywhere. But this article is about that project and cites many of the books and how they were used.
