Biggest mistake they ever made. Our scores went down drastically which now has the district in a tizzy. The kids are missing reading strategy instruction as well as reading workshop. The idea was to have Lit Coaches incorporate reading into the content areas. This did not work the way it was planned. I wouldn't be surprised to see a return to some kind of formalized instruction after the next round of low scores.
