Ditto on Reciprocal Teaching, as well as Questioning the Author. Also, look for a new strategy called "Close Reading." It's directly related to the CCSS, text complexity, and text dependent questioning. Specifically, it utilizes well-planned, thought out think alouds to build understanding with complex or incoherent text.
