for Readers WorkshopMessage-ID: Content-Type:
text/plain; charset="us-ascii"Does anyone know where I can find bibliographies
of children's books for each of the traits for Readers' Workshop,
such schema, creating mental images, inferring, etc.? I have a short list from
Debbie Miller's book Reading with Meaning, but I was looking other lists or
titles that I could add to hers. I'm trying to make a comprehensive list for my
teachers to use with Readers Workshop. Thanks in advance! David

great for lessons on Connections,Questioning, Visualizing,
Inferring, and Synthesizing. I spent a month oneach last year with my students,
all straight from lessons in this book, and it tells you the exact
children's books you can use with each skill. On Sat, Sep 8, 2012 at 4:06 AM,

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1Our school librarian set up book
boxes based on Adrian Gear's strands;you'd check them out for a
few weeks, that kind of thing. Great idea.Definitely 'inferring' was the one I
found more challenging with primaries.Linda RightmireSD
