This list was an amazing source when I was looking for info for my first unit, so I figured I would post this now as we are preparing to begin our next unit, which is focusing on rural settings in America. The grade level is 8th, and it will be about 8 weeks long. I am planning to read Of Mice & Men with my honors level classes and The Incredible Journey with my non-honors. I am looking for short stories and essays to use in conjunction with these two novels. Any ideas?
