Thanks to everyone who expressed interest in participating in an Opening Minds
book group here on the listserv.

No one else needs to email me that they want to take part...I have enough
interest to keep it right here on the list where everyone can read and follow
along. For those folks still on the fence, Stenhouse has a preview copy on line
so you can take a peek...

Stay tuned. I will post a rough schedule at the end of the month and we will
move into it in February. I am thinking to keep the pacing brisk...in the past,
sometimes, with these online groups, the longer it goes on, folks lose
interest. The book is fairly short, so I am thinking roughly a chapter a week.
Of course, you can always read ahead...and if you are behind the current
discussion questions you can always respond to earlier posts. I would also like
to suggest that the discussion is richer if it is not only me that is creating
discussion prompts. As you read...and as you write your thoughts in the margins
of the book...(as I think many of us do)... feel free to start your own
discussion threads.

Looking forward to this!!
