Greetings, Ubuntu has made some fairly large changes to the default build environment in 8.10, and I have been unable to build packages for that version and 9.04.
To be concise, I need to be able to redefine CC and CXX to point to older, more stable versions of the compilers, but there are a lot of places in the Moses Makefiles where calls to cc and gcc are hard-coded in. If some kind-hearted soul in the development community could help find and replace these, it would make it much easier for me to repackage Moses.
