i'm not sure if anyone's answered you question & i don't know exactly what your question is.
However, i was using backoff translation models recently & noticed a bug which i fixed a few weeks ago http://mosesdecoder.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/mosesdecoder?view=revision&revision=4089 so you should update your decoder if you haven't already done so I'm not sure if it works when you have multiple models, but i can't see a reason why it won't hope that helps a bit On 02/08/2011 15:42, Christian Wirth wrote: > Hi, > > i'm trying to build a moses server with multiple models, including > backoff models. > To be more exact, i want two translation pairs with two models > (primary+backoff) each. > > My intuitive description would have been: > > [translation-systems] > deen D 0 R 0 L 0 > ende D 2 R 2 L 2 > > > [mapping] > 0 T 0 > 1 T 1 > 2 T 2 > 3 T 3 > > [decoding-graph-backoff] > 0 > 5 > 0 > 5 > > But what is happening when there are still unkown words after the backoff > model step for the first translation pair ? > > best regards Christian W. > > > _______________________________________________ Moses-support mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/moses-support
