I'm very glad to announce that Adobe has contributed its toolset to the
Moses for Localization project! http://code.google.com/p/m4loc

The tool set consists of Adobe AIR-based GUI tools to convert and clean
corpora, and to train and evaluate Moses MT systems.

At the recent TAUS Open Source Machine Translation Showcase in Beijing Gong
Yu from Adobe presented an overview of the capabilities of the tool set:
http://www.slideshare.net/TAUS/1440-23-april-2012-beijing-yu-gong-adobe .
For a more in-depth explanation of the functionality and background I
recommend the paper written by Jeffrey Rueppel, Li Jiang, Gong Yu and Ray
Flournoy for the AAMT conference last year:
http://www.mt-archive.info/MTS-2011-Rueppel.pdf

You can find documentation on how to use and compile the toolset in a new
section on the M4Loc wiki:
http://code.google.com/p/m4loc/wiki/TOCAMT

The tools are contained in the following subfolders in the source tree:
. corpus/corpus-cleaning-tool
. eval/scoring-harness-tool
. training/training-harness-tool

Pre-built packages for the Mac are available in the Downloads section:
http://code.google.com/p/m4loc/downloads/

Many thanks to Adobe for making this valuable resource available to the
community! I'm sure they are happy to help out anybody on this mailing list
starting to use the tools for their Moses projects. To not spam this mailing
list please send questions/feedback to [email protected]

Over the last couple of months we also worked on improved functionality and
bug fixes for the M4Loc integration library. We are in the process of
documenting these and will send a separate announcement soon.
