It looks like you're writing to news-commentary-v7.fr-en.lm.en without
a .gz then trying to read news-commentary-v7.fr-en.lm.en.gz . If that
doesn't fix it, subscribe to the IRSTLM mailing list at
https://list.fbk.eu/sympa/subscribe/user-irstlm and direct your message
there. Also, you probably want to specify an n-gram order.
