Final Call for Papers and Deadline Extension

MT Summit XIV 5th Workshop on Patent Translation
September 2, 2013 Nice, France
*********************************************************************

REVISED SUBMISSION DEADLINE: JUNE 17!

==============
Workshop Theme
==============

Patent information is one of the major application areas of machine
translation. Five major patent offices in the world: Japan, Korea,
China, Europe and U.S. intend to exchange patent information through
machine translation. The workshop aims to foster research and
development of the technology for patent translation by providing a
forum in which researchers and practitioners can exchange their ideas,
approaches, perspectives, and experiences from their work in progress.
We have successfully organized a series of workshops in MT Summit X, XI,
XII, and XIII. We will have deeper discussions about this theme in this
workshop.

The workshop will consist of the keynote speech by Prof. Philipp Koehn,
University of Edinburgh, 3 invited talks from Europe, Korea, and Japan,
and presentation of submitted papers.
