many companies are using Moses commercial. It's not unethical or illegal. The software license is LGPL. Therefore, if you use it commercially, you should be aware of some things when you sell or distribute the software: 1. If you change moses, you have to make your changes open source 2. if your own (non-open source) software links to moses, you should compile moses dynamically, rather than statically. This is to enable your users to be able to upgrade their version of moses themselves
