Hi,

use absolute path for all the files.

so it will be something like this:
/path-to-script/wrap-xml.perl /path-to-sgm/devtest2006-ref.en.sgm en <
/home/user-name/Desktop/1000.en > /home/user-name/Desktop/1000.en.sgm
