There is no issue for me to see video from motion using VLC.
Is it possible to see this stream directly via webbrowser somehow ?
Best regards
Mariusz

Just point your browser to http://motion:8081
Or create HTML page with <img src="http://motion:8081">
There may be browsers that does not support MJPEG. One of those was IE wich
showed file download instead of rendering mjpeg

Not sure, I suspect not. Try it and see. Try viewing it with vlc at
the same time as motion is running.

Ok. I checked it in Firefox and it works :-)
Unfortunatelly it doesn't work for Chrome.
Do someone know how to force Chrome to playing it?
Best regards

I guess there may be some AddOn for Chrome to support MJPEG
But you can still use HTML workaround as a wrote in my previous mail. This
works for Chrome
