Maybe it's not the most clever question, but... how to disable motion
deamon?
I can't find how to do it. Is "killall motion" only one option?
Best regards
Mariusz

Hello
I'm fighting with the sun reflecting off the metal doors.
That makes a false motion detections (signed by white rectangle enabled).
But still with no positive result.
Could someone please help me?
Best regards
Mariusz

>From my observations is that threshold is the most important option - I
need to set it correctly to get valid result (avoid to get false motion
getection or no motion detection.
The range if this is real huge -
http://www.lavrsen.dk/foswiki/bin/view/Motion/ConfigOptionThreshold - says:
Range / Valid values: 1 - 2147483647
Is it possible to investigate somehow the real value when there is no
motion in monitored place?
I would like to know the value which is never reached if there is no
moption in the room.
Any hints or ideas how to log or how / where to find threshold logs ?
Best regards
Mariusz

Have you tried running motion in "setup" mode? It will show you threshold
values in webstream and also dump to console
