Is it any progress in devlopment of *motion *or is it an "as it is" package
installation?
Many cameras use rtsp://IPADDRESS[:PORT] for streaming and also kameras
with http://IPADDRESS[:PORT] use H.264 format for HD video.
Will it be a solution for that in *motion*?

I have created a small perl script that can run through your web browser to
give you a nice grid of the last 8 images captured, links to videos and the
last snap as well as a link to the live feed.
This is my first time publishing on github so I hope I did it right :)
Please feel free to comment or make suggestions for the code.

Cool! You should checkout Dancer2, it's a really nice framework for
building things like this.

Hi all,
might anyone know why when i execute Motion in setup mode (motion
-s) I get detects and recordings, however when running in standard mode
nothing appears to happen? Also the CPU usage hovers at around 2-5% only (I
have Motion running on another raspi with 2 connected USB camera's and the
cpu sits at around 10% at least)
Details of the setup mode are below:

Latest motion trunk does support rtsp (ffmpeg). Only mjpeg is supported
over http, I have never seen h264 over http, which container is used then?
