Has anyone been able to use motion with Axis P-series cameras, such as P-1425?

I?ve tried two different netcam_url values - they both work on a browser test:

netcam_url value http://IP/axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi?resolution=320x240
netcam_url value http://IP/jpg/1/image.jpg

Motion log is saying this:

[2] [CRT] [NET] [Sep 27 14:42:07] netcam_start: libjpeg decompression failure
on first frame - giving up!
[2] [WRN] [ALL] [Sep 27 14:42:07] motion_init: Could not fetch initial image
from camera Motion continues using width and height from config file(s)

If anyone has this working on P-series, please advise what netcam_url you are
using.

(my system has other axis cameras and non-axis cameras and has worked for years)

thanks
Matt

Can you also include the exact error that you get when you compile motion?

Please, when replying use "user" mail list, not "Developer". Developer list
is used by SVN to send commit details

Before building motion edit Makefile and append following to LIBS:

LIBS = -lswresample -lrt -lva -lx264

Paste here the result what you get after this modification
