If motion crashes (See previous email ref core dump), then I want to restart and not have to worry about moving files. I assume this is a single option to a C open command. thanks ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Sun, 28 Feb 2016 11:44:23 +0100 From: AlexW <honda...@gmx.de> Subject: Re: [Motion-user] Time lapse To: motion-user@lists.sourceforge.net Message-ID: <20160228114423.557d7ebe@aspire4935G> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Am Sun, 28 Feb 2016 10:38:36 +0000 schrieb John Baker <jba...@dryfish.org.uk>: |Is it possible to make the timelapse feature append to a file if the |motion process is restarted during a day, ie instead of overwriting the |existing file? I raised this in an earlier post - there's an option for motion videos, but not for timelapse. Both should use the same format option ideally. -- John Baker, Web Technologies Consultant. http://www.javasystemsolutions.com +44 77 3639 3822 On Sun, Feb 28, 2016, at 10:44 AM, tosiara wrote: > Use SWF format (which is actually MPEG2).
