Never used anything like this but I have been pulling my hair out to get 2
cameras working.

I have copied, renamed and edited the config files for 2 cameras
I have edited the motion.conf to tell it about the 2 new .conf files

I have port forwarded 8081 and 8082 (then 8083 as I thought maybe something
else was getting 8082)

I have had to chmod /var/log/motion/motion.log as it couldn?t write to it
I have had to chmod /var/run/motion/motion.pid as it couldn?t write to it

I have checked /dev/vid* and both cameras are showing (/dev/video0 and
/dev/video1)

Errors were showing as cannot write to file, permission denied (see above) and
also something about ipv4 address already in use?

Any help is great thanks

Sam
