That's *all* you want to do?? :-) Instead of taking the whole project on all at once, may I suggest you bite off one piece at a time? There are plenty of tutorials out there that can, step by step, show you how to get motion going on a Raspberry Pi. Consider the time and effort it takes you to do this as an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the vocabulary and jargon of motion and remote camera systems. Then bring your second, third and 4th PI into the mix. There are plenty of tutorials out there that explain how to get 2 cameras working with motion. By the time you get 2 going, I'm pretty sure you'll know the path to getting to the 4th and 5th. By this time you should be familiar with most of the settings of motion and will be ready to tackle PIR sensors to a display and/or an alarm. Finally, instead of searching on motion, try using some phrase searches: "Linux motion cameras", "raspberry pi"+motion, "raspberry pi" motion+"PIR+ sensors". I just tested each one of these and I promise you, you'll find all the information you need to complete your project. If you get it all going, it would be great if you could write it up for the benefit of the community. I does sound like a nifty project and I'm sure you'll find a soul brother or two here. Good luck.
