Message-ID: <cachtdwtolqtepozobkql3poe1vxkpzqvjvopar_vmftr5_c...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" FWIW, I experimented with as possible cheapest cameras available on Aliexpress. Took two RTSP cameras under the brand "BESDER" for $12 bullet with 720p and 12V power supply and one dome for $15 with 960p and PoE. Both provide pretty decent quality in IR mode. And both have been running fine with motion for the past year. The cons are: both of them require Internet Explorer with ActiveX enabled in order to change the config which is annoying. And unfortunately, IR leds started to fail one by one recently: out of 24 leds there are only 5 operating at the moment and decreasing by one each week so I expect it to die soon.
