USB3.0 controller would be capable of more bandwidth with 2 USB 2.0 clients 
running full USB 2.0 bandwidth than a USB 2.0 controller, would be my guess.

Total bandwidth *per controller* is the limit, and if you're saturating a 
single line, adding another would have to go through the same pipe.

USB 3.0 is a lot better. The problem with USB 3.0 is that very few single board 
computers have a USB 3.0 interface; especially the Raspberry Pi's.

I know, I checked *all* of them a while ago. There are a few SoC (System on 
Chip) boards that do have USB 3.0, if you're interested I'll update you.

Yes, I am using two 720p WiFi Waze camera?s with OpenIP.  With the V2 cameras 
the automated switch to night mode does not work however.

I am using the Xiaomi ones and the software mode works for night vision
