I'm liking Motion quite a bit, but I'm trying to setup a B&W stream from 
a cam. I've added a line:

 ??? stream_grey yes

in the Live Stream Server section of motion.conf. That has had no effect.

Is there a way to do this?

That would be the issue.

Mageia repos are only offering a much older version. I think it's ver. 4.0 
something.

I realized it right after sending the email and waited for a response to 
mention it. Sorry about that.

Mark it resolved.

Looking at https://motion-project.github.io/motion_config.html,  I find
that there are several references to

minimum_gap, but that is not a valid option name (it is not even listed
in the

Configuration Options-Listed Alphabetically  as an old name)


Should that be 'minimum_frame_time' ?
