Good Day...
I have a Pi3 Model B Rev1.2
I just installed Motion and was able to update it to version 4.1.1.
I wanted to update to version 4.2.2 but the package in the repository would not
install.
Returned an incompatible hardware error.
Which package should I try next to update to 4.2.2 or am I stuck at 4.1.1?
I tried the pi_stretch_motion_4.2.2-1_armf.deb
Prior packages that did work were pi_jessie_motion_4.1.1-1_armf.deb
Based on what I saw while viewing all the install/config videos this will be
exactly what I need, if I can get it to work

Thank you

Thank you for the information Peter, I have no good reason not to update the OS
on the Pi. I just unpacked the unit and Jessie is what came loaded on it.
I will look into the process you mention.
Based on your response I am guessing that 4.1.1 is as far as I can go.

Thank you

Bob
