Hi,
I've installed *Motion* via *apt* and have successfully taken images with
my Raspberry Pi: The infrared Camera Module v2 (Pi NoIR). I have installed
the software with the following commands:
sudo apt-get install motion -y && sudo modprobe bcm2835-v4l2
Upon trying to utilize Pi-specific options (adding to my camera.conf):
*mmalcam_name* & *mmalcam_control_params, *I ran into an issue with them
not being recognized:
[0:motion] [ALR] [ALL] conf_cmdparse: Unknown config option
"mmalcam_control_params"
The documentation clearly states this is the normal behavior if a user
installed via *apt*.
How may I add in support for the *mmalcam *options? And are there any up to
date tutorials you are aware of that cover this topic?
