The easiest way to do it my be creating the mask file as being all black,
which makes it never detect anything.

thanks guys thought I was missing something fundamental :) I tried the 
url pause but that dosen't last thru a reset. Was hoping it had a mate 
or something in the config.

Was beginning to think mask was the only way but then I was not wanting 
to waste cpu cycles(ie processing) Will try the threshold.
