Hi Ronnie,

Haven?t herad from you for a while? Do you have any idea who could be contacted
to re-implement the features decribed?

It was such a nice feature: Have small pictures to build a movie, but get large
pictures to see the details. All in parallel. Any clue?

Best regards,

Jean

Hi Ronnie,

I don?t know the version, I believe I installed it a few yeras ago from

motion-mmal-lowflyerUK-20151114.tar.gz

and it runs perfectly on a Pi 2 and Pi 3, but unfortunately not on a Pi 3B+.
There it generates a ?segmentation fault?. The new versions of motion run
perfectly, too, but without the b. m. options.

If it is of any help? I uploaded motion-mmal-lowflyerUK-20151114.tar.gz to my
dropbox:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ysis40zt5zj7ht9/AAC1-unmvw0el9TZjw1Yrv0va?dl=0

Thanks for any help!

Best regards,

Jean

In what version were you using those? This page doesn't show those listed for
anything Version 3.2 or newer.

Thanks,

Hi, some time ago there were a few commands in motion-mmalcam.conf like

output_secondary_pictures

and

output_both_pictures

They were meant to achieve

# Output pictures from secondary capture (see mmalcam_secondary_buffer_upscale
above)

# Use this to perform motion detection on a low-res image and record a high-res
output

The options saved both resolutions as ?.jpg? and ?.JPG?.

In the current version of motion I can?t find these things anymore. If I add
them, there is no effect at all.

Any clue?

Help will be very much appreciated!

Best regards?.
