I've been using motion for years without issues.? Suddenly I am
receiving hundreds of emails when any of my cameras are turned off from
the on_camera_lost setting within the camera configuration file.? I
haven't changed anything.
The system running motion is ubuntu 18.04.? Any other information that
would help?

Which version of Motion are you running? Have you checked the motion log
for anything that may point to the cause?

It has been a while...location of log file?? Easy way to determine version?
