Exposure is proper, contrast is high. Also the mjpeg-streamer-experimental (also mmal-aware) does the same. Now I'm trying to capture the camera directly in motion. It is functional, but the images produced are of poor quality. Washed out, grey for blacks in low light yet most of the screen white in sunlight. I tried setting mmalcam_control_params -ex auto -op 255 -sh 0 -co 0 -br 50 which is what raspistill appears to be doing, but the result is still a lot worse. Other combinations of these settings are worse still. All hints/ideas are most welcome. Thanks in advance, Joris -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Tue, 10 Dec 2019 05:28:13 -0600 From: Graham Toal <gt...@gtoal.com> To: Motion discussion list <motion-user@lists.sourceforge.net> Subject: Re: [Motion-user] Access to video stream over the web Message-ID: <cabwqhlmgkgyezcgh0hg5ff_94l-i8bafthfn9xh7k_d8yps...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" You don't have to use port forwarding. If you only have one external site accessing the video, you could push it out using an ssh reverse tunnel.
