my setup:

motionEye Version0.42
Motion Version4.0
OS VersionUbuntu 18.04
On a VMware ESXI 6.7  Server, with  "igpu"  pass-through

How to activate hardware acceleration on my motion server?


On the VM are two graphic devices and i want too use the " HD Graphics 530"
graphic card.

I set " ffmpeg_video_codec  h264_vaapi" in "camera-1.conf" file, but how
can i set the device?
