You wont find anything its been well buried, ask and all you will get is
the old "I know nothing about it"

I found this last August when working with a developer on another
application chasing after a memory leak.

Its reproducible as well, After wrecking one system I got the same
results on a new system, .

One of the problem with APT is "purge" does not remove all files
associated with an application, so a vulnerability is left open.

I suspect most of the linux file managers do the same and have the same
vulnerability.

Richard

Hey all,

do any of you know where the webcontrol HTML file is located, which is
used by motion (the html which is presented with localhost:8080 etc).

I would like to see if I could add a couple of buttons/ commands in
order to view the recordings made by motion (utilizing mpv),

Rainer

p.s.: my knowledge of python and json is very limited but I have worked
with them before).

It doesn't make sense to have files saved on site but instead remotely
To do that I'd have to have either remote cameras or I could have the
cameras connected to a local computer running motion with a remote
target_dir

Motion uses hardcoded html strings, you will have to compile from sources:
https://github.com/Motion-Project/motion/blob/master/src/webu_html.c
