Also tried with video0 ? same result. Camera1.conf was altered to: ??? videodevice v4l2:///dev/video2 ??? v4l2_palette 21 (video6 is for the other camera, so ?same difference?.) Anything else to suggest? I?m going to play around on and off to see if I can come up with something. I also needed to replace ?videodevice? with ?netcam_url?! You basically told me, I just didn?t understand. I went back to playing with VLC, stuff started making sense, ? somewhere remembered I had seen ?netcam? and then ?mmal??. So the proper command lines are: ??? netcam_url v4l2:///dev/video2 ??? v4l2_palette 21 Which work! Now to see how things work in the heat! (Still will install the cooling for the cameras.) Found the recordings and the live video stream is highly pixelated such as when a car goes by: just the area of the moving object. We?re getting there! Both MJPEG and H264 will be converted into raw 420 and then encoded into whatever you have configured. It will only have difference if you use passthrough which skips encoding of the movies at all and writes the stream as-is On Tue, Jun 8, 2021 at 2:52 AM Barry Martin <barry3mar...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi tosiaria! > > > You?re going to love me!
