My log is being hit with:

[WRN] [NET] netcam_init_jpeg: no new pic, no signal rcvd

But the main page shows a stream from the camera, so motion is able to
read the network stream.

Source camera is
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pas.webcam&hl=en_CA&gl=US
which has worked very well for a long time, although I have not used it
or motion for a time now due to a segfault in some library motion
needed on EL7.

Full debug can be found at:

http://brian.interlinx.bc.ca/motion_debug.txt

Any ideas?

Cheers,
b.

if you are getting jpeg images you might make sure to use this:

netcam_url mjpeg:<camera-url>

On the most recent version not using mjpeg: on a jpeg image was
causing mine to lose the cameras after some time in use. Swiitching
to mjpeg: made it work like it used to.
