Subject: [Motion-user] Live video not displayed

I am told that someone does not view the live videos of the 2 webcams (a
third provides only a still image) available on the page:
http://www.lalpinistavirtuale.it/nido
I can easily see this video live and so do some friends with whom I am in
contact.
Others, on the other hand, tell me they see a large (640x480 pixel) white
space and not even the usual written, after a few seconds, that the video
is not available.
Could it depend on a motion setting (and which one?)
That oversees the video stream and the recording of MP4 files available at
the bottom of the page?
Thanks for the attention

FWIW I tried using Firefox.? I see the four birds at the top with a
large boarded box under -- white inside.? Clicking on the birds does
have indication of going to a new page (address field webcam 1 - 2 -
3...) but the overall page view remains the same.

For 'fun' I tried adding a few common port numbers at the end but
everything remained the same.

In the chart at the bottom clicking on 'Vedi' does give me nice videos,
so that part is working.

Not sure what sort of help this gives you -- compare and what's the
difference between what is working and what is not.? FWIW I use
CCTV-Viewer for my live-stream monitoring.? All three cameras require
the port number, two of the three also require the camera ID:

 ??? <IP_Address>:8081/101

 ??? <IP_Address>:8082

 ??? <IP_Address>:8081/1

Theoretically each was a clone of the common source card. (Whatever: it
works!)? Just offering options to check.

Good Luck!

Barry

FWIW, I too use Firefox and see the four birds at the top with a large
frame labelled Nido N. 1 underneath. That frame contains apparently live
video - to judge from the timestamp - but is slightly clipped and the
entire timestamp is only visible if I select 'Show only this frame'.
The frame is from a different domain, and if I look at the Tools/Web
Developer/Console I see a lot of cross-domain errors and stylesheet
security errors etc. So it might be worth check people's browser
security settings as well as the brand and version of browser they are
using.
