Subject: [Motion-user] Finer control of output_pictures parameter

I have:
        output_pictures best
and that works fine. However sometimes I'd like more frequent images.
Apart from changing output_pictures to 'on', I think the only other way
to control this would be to adjust event_gap to a smaller number, so
that there are more events, and therefore more 'best' pictures. Another
option would be to set max_movie_time to a smaller value.

If I changed output_pictures to 'on', I think the only way I could
control this is by reducing the framerate (currently 6) to, say, 1, to
get 1 per second, but then I'd get choppy videos.

Ideally I'd like output_pictures 'on' but with a way of controlling the
rate at which stills are saved when motion detected. Is there a way of
doing this that I've overlooked?

Dougie
