Yes, I also save a snapshot, to add/subtract from my mask layer in gimp,
flatten the xcf to image size, save to pgm, make sure it is raw and not
ascii. Next you'll want to see actual files :)

includes the conf files, 2 jpg samples with redbox, and mask##.pgm, for
both at startup (because somebody will ask about that), and current
position, for when the camera is moved, a few http changes are sent to
motion, like set new mask file, text_left, movie_filename, and
action/restart.
