Not sure about the log entry, but to answer the question about the
pre_capture setting, it is asking for the number of frames to capture prior
to motion being triggered. To figure this number multiply the frame rate by
the number of seconds you want to capture.
Example;
My framerate is set to 15 frames per second. If I want to capture the ten
seconds prior to motion being triggered, then the answer is 150 frames.
As the warning listed here,
https://motion-project.github.io/motion_config.html#pre_capture says, a
high number may cause motion to drop frames.
