Hello there,

I?m working on an insect trap for scientific purposes. We?re mostly interested
in moths and butterflies. They get attracted at nightime with UV lights and
trapped in a small box (10x10x10cm). The box is painted blue, has a few LED for
lighting and a USB-Camera for detecting presence of a moth and to take the
desired picture.

Is there a way to tweak motion for this kind of scenario?

(On a side track I?m experimenting with a custom motion (presence) detection.
There I?m taking a reference picture of the empty box which is working really
well, but I?d prefere to use a mature solution like motion on the long run?

Hope somebody has some ideas on this. Have a great Sunday,
Hans
