Re: Motion not showing web page, nor captured videos (chuck elliot) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 Date: Mon, 28 Aug 2023 18:14:03 +0100 From: chuck elliot <c.ell...@pobox.com> To: motion-user@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [Motion-user] Motion not showing web page, nor captured videos Message-ID: <e3e7c6b9-5557-e275-0153-5ac0c2c35...@pobox.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"; Format="flowed" This suggests that the ports are closed. I have control port set on 8080 and one camera on 8081 and another on 8082 (you can't use the same port more than once on a single host). If I port scan my machine using nmap -sT <IP-ADDR>, I see /inter alia/: 8080/tcp open? http-proxy 8081/tcp open? blackice-icecap 8082/tcp open? blackice-alerts showing that these ports are listening for TCP connection requests. (blackice is just the official registered service for these port numbers). Regards. On 28/08/2023 10:58 am, Ian Smith wrote: > Dear Chuck, Many thanks for your help.
