You don't need a database. Look for

movie_output <on/off>

in motion.conf

"on" should get you videos stored in the directory specified by

target_dir </path/to//videos>

Thanks for the reply.

Running motionplus, but I do have "movie_output on"

I have changed the target_dir in the Camera section to one in my home?
to prevent any permission problems, but still no videos

Any other ideas?
