Thank you for your help!? It was a mix of permissions and setup.
I now have a couple of videos recorded and it seems 15-20 jpeg per
second, so now I need to understand that.
Many thanks, I'm sure I will be back with more questions but for now I
have something to work with.

I have just watched the Mr Dave video "How to set up detection with
Motion Software" which looks really good, but then I tried to do that on
my MotionPlus system and it doesn't seem to do anything.
I changed motionplus.conf to include
stream_preview_method? 3
webcontrol_parms? 2
I am guessing that this is not how to do it for Plus, can anyone tell me
how to do it please?
