movie_passthrough on

Hi,
I am using motion 4.7.0. I have appr. 8 IP cameras, most sending H.265
streams and will detect motion by itself and trigger the recording by using the
motion http api.
To lower CPU usage I turned movie_passthrough to on. Since then I recognized,
that the begin of the recorded video starts several seconds to a minute before
the event happen until I restart motion.
The record video is much longer than the time between on_movie_start event and
on_movie_end event.
Here are some configuration values, which might be relevant for the issue:
movie_codec hevc
movie_passthrough on
movie_duplicate_frames off
timelapse_interval 10
timelapse_mode daily
timelapse_codec mpg
framerate 15
pre_capture 0
post_capture 1000
event_gap 10
movie_max_time 0
netcam_highres not set
Best Regards
Arvid

Try changing your camera settings to CBR with the lowest keyframe intervals
