This morning at 8AM there were a few new birds. First there were about six ruby-crowned kinglets. One giving me his little flash of red. At the west end of the sanctuary there is a stream. At the far back end of the stream was a resting black crowned night heron. On Saturday evening my brother and I flushed out two woodcocks - new for us at Roberts and a mutant mallard. Today must be my day for heron's later I saw flying both a great blue and an egret.
